The Emir of Wase, Muhammad Sambo Haruna, has appealed to the American Government to extend its collaborative efforts on development to Wase Local Government Area of Plateau State.
The emir made the call while receiving the Charge-De-Affairs of the American Embassy in Nigeria, David Young, at the Eid-el-Kabir Durbar festival.

In a statement by the Wazirin Wase, Badamasi Mamuda, the Emir called on President Muhammad Buhari and Governor Simon Bako Lalong to continue with the good work they are doing especially on providing security for peaceful coexistence.
The statement added that the Charge De Affairs of the American Embassy in Nigeria, Mr. David Young promised to look into the request of the Emir with the view to exploring best ways of collaboration between the American Embassy and Wase Emirate in terms of development.
